Hello, there!

Thank you for visiting me here.

If you liked 'A Shadowy Death', published in Issue 39 of Pulphouse Magazine, you will absolutely love 'A Benevolent Goddess', a touching tale of a goddess who is punished for her desire to help human beings but is unable to find salvation by any other means!

A Benevolent Goddess

Countless gods you pray to. Only one answers. It will cost her dearly.

In a land where gods have long mastered the art of ignoring the prayers of human beings, a new goddess arrives. She desires nothing more than to help those who call out in faith.

But every choice, no matter how noble, comes with its own consequences. Even the benevolent goddess will have to pay a steep price if she chooses to follow her heart’s desire.

Reviews from Delighted Readers

This is such a unique take on a goddess! I loved how the goddess came to be where humans lived, the life she had before and the choice that led her here. Though she may be all-knowing with magic, I imagined her as a young woman who is facing the realities of having left home. There are moments of joy, wonder and striving to love for a big cause to help humans, but there are also human feelings of being lonely, disappointed and shocked. The addition of the final chapter in the updated version offers hope and empowerment to the goddess. I enjoyed this tale and would read it again. ~ Kriti, Armed With A Book, on Goodreads
