The delight they feel at escaping from the places where you had hidden them is palpable.

Look how they relish this moment of freedom! Of being able to emerge from rooftops, come crawling out of the ground, and burst out of windows and doors when least expected.

But you’re too terrified to appreciate their happiness. 

Naturally, you’re worried about all the secrets you had kept concealed for so long even you had forgotten what they were.

You’re worried about those secrets now spilling all over town, revealing to the world what you truly are.

Fret not! 

Every house in this neighbourhood is beset with the same fears and concerns. 

Everyone’s secrets are unravelling faster than they can stop them.

Funny how no one seems to realize that everyone is too focussed on the skeletons emerging from their closets to even cast a glance at yours!
